Since moving to the Twin Cities from Chicago in 2016, guitarist Mike Wolter has established himself as an in-demand leader and sideman on the jazz and improvised music scene. He has collaborated with many of the area’s finest musicians, including Cody McKinney, Cory Healey, Anthony Cox, Sarah Greer, Erik Fratzke, Brandon Wozniak, Phil Hey, JC Sanford, Javier Santiago, Joan Hutton, Nathan Hanson, Aaron Hedenstrom, Chris Bates, Omar Abdulkarim, and many others. His unique compositions and improvisational approach can be heard in numerous groups at venues around the Twin Cities.
