As we start a new year and mark our fortieth anniversary, the MGS board has two immediate openings.

Treasurer

We need a new volunteer treasurer. The treasurer is responsible for maintaining the ongoing financial records of the MGS, paying our Managing Director, and assisting with budget projections for our concert series and guitar education program. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel as a platform for financial/budget recordkeeping and basic accounting/bookkeeping documents, as well as prior experience (professional or volunteer) as a bookkeeper, accountant, or treasurer, is required. Managing Director

Our Managing Director is stepping down at the end of May. This paid position involves a variety of excitements, and the opportunity to meet and work with many wonderful people.
